So you would severely injure CHILD because of one slap to a cat. Do I condone what the kid did? HELL NO, but IT’S A KID !! Kids lash out this way (towards anyone OR anything around them) because they don’t know how to properly vent their anger/frustration. 

Ever seen a kid throw their toy or bottle out of anger? how about hit their parent/sibling/friend/etc.? I have. Plenty of times. Don’t act like a kid is an automatic adult.

This is why most pet owners piss me off. They’re so focused on animals but forget to care for humans too. They’re the ones that put their children on a leash but carry their animals. Have time to walk the dog but are “too tired” to play with/spend time with their children.
